We would like to inform you that the Department of History University of Essex is offering a free online course in March which may be of your interest.
Please see the details below:
- This one-week course, titled Legacies of Conflict: Britain, United States and Russia, explores a range of subjects related to the department’s research interests in war and society. These include the long term impacts of the Russian Civil War, the legacies of the Second World War in Cold War Britain, and the lessons of the Vietnam War in the United States.
- The course aims to give students an introduction to the study of History at a postgraduate level, as well as to introduce them to current important topics in these research areas.
- These sessions are completely free to join and students who register will receive a link enabling them to join the sessions which will be delivered online by Zoom.
- All students who attend a minimum of four out of the five sessions will, upon request, receive a certificate of attendance after the course concludes.
- Course: 8-12 March 2021 at various times and each session is 90 minutes.
