International Students and Student's Organizations Networking Meeting

Dear International Students of Krakow and International Student Organisations!

We are writing to you from the Multicultural Centre in Krakow, a publicly funded project under the ‘Open Krakow’ programme, which was developed to create a space for interaction, contact and support of the international community residing in Krakow, including you, students.

We would like to reach out to international student communities in Krakow, from different disciplines, universities, and origins, in order to provide you with:

  • information about how to participate in the life of the city,
  • free practical and legal advice through our Information Point for Foreigners,
  • information about the Multicultural Centre and its activities, also to volunteer/do internships.

We are hosting the first face to face networking meeting for Students’ groups in ENGLISH (with the possibility of translation into Polish, Russian and Ukrainian) on Thursday, November 4th 2021 at 6pm at the great café/bar/hang-out space of The Temple on Ul. Berka Joselewicza 23. We welcome all international students and those linked with international student organisations. Snacks and refreshments will be provided and covered by us!

Please fill out the registration form if you intend to attend: https://forms.gle/FCaSkpD1FobVHaXp8

Amongst us are academics, civil society activists, cultural managers and people who are keen on developing Krakow into an open, welcoming city for people from around the world. We hope to give you a platform to share your ideas, to discuss the barriers you face as international students, to strengthen your networks and participate in the life of the city.

We have also prepared an International Students’ Guide to Krakow that is available on the City of Krakow / Open Krakow website (Russian and Ukrainian versions are on their way): https://otwarty.krakow.pl/.../253901,2192,komunikat...

We hope you will join us in developing networks and ties in the city, whether you are here for a short-term stay, a longer stint, or you plan on putting down roots in the city.

Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We are available at centrum@open.krakow.pl, or you can come visit us during our opening hours from Monday-Thursday, 10am-6pm on Ul. Daszyńskiego 22 in Krakow.

Best regards from the Multicultural Centre Team!
