SYLFF Scholarship Program 2021/2022

Dear MA and PhD Students,
 
We would like to inform you that the JU SYLFF Steering Committee announces Scholarship Competition for outstanding students in the field of humanities and social studies, as well as in law, economy and management studies.
 
The program objective is to support the education of graduate and doctoral students who possess high potential as leaders in public life.
 
Eligible candidates for the scholarship at the time of submitting an application:
 
• 1st-3rd year of doctoral studies (3rd cycle degree)
• 1st year of master's studies (2nd cycle degree)
• 4th year of a 5-year-masters studies (long-cycle)
 
The fellowship is meant to encourage learning engagements and projects (such as lectures, seminars, workshops and tutorials) and not just pure research.
 
A maximum of 4 scholarships will be awarded to the best candidates in the academic year 2021/2022. The amount of scholarship depends on the number of funds received from the Tokyo Foundation in a given year.
