Welcoming Our Partners from University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point to the Institute of European Studies

Last week we welcomed our esteemed partners from University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point for their visit to our Institute of European Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. Despite years of collaboration through the Study Abroad programme, it was their first time stepping into our campus.

Dr. Brad Van Den Elzen, the Director of International Education Office, and Katya Leek, Study Abroad Advisor & NSE Coordinator were our honored guests.

We had the pleasure of showing them around the city and our campus, the university's main building - Collegium Novum as well as the Jagiellonian Museum in Collegium Maius. Additionally, our visitors had the opportunity to talk to administrative staff and attend one of our classes, "Introduction to Politics", taught by Dr. Natasza Styczyńska.

After years of virtual communication, meeting face-to-face was truly delightful. Despite the chilly weather, our hearts were warmed by this long-awaited encounter. We sincerely hope our guests enjoyed this experience, and we eagerly anticipate their return to Kraków and, of course, to our university.
