Invitation to TEPSA Policy Conference: "From Elections to Everyday: Strategies against Disinformation in the EU" on February 2, 2024

 Dear All,
On behalf of the TEPSA The Trans European Policy Studies Association, we are pleased to invite you to attend the Policy Conference, “From Elections to Everyday: Strategies against Disinformation in the EU,” on 2 February 2024.

This conference will feature an expert panel with leading EU policy-makers, facilitated by Isabelle Kumar, and offers a platform for public debate at the heart of EU policy-making with relevant stakeholders countering disinformation in Europe.

It will be a very interesting day of discussion on how disinformation in the EU is affecting thematic areas such as electoral processes, climate change, migration, foreign interference, and LGBTIQ+, including the presentation of policy recommendations by youth ambassadors from across the EU!

We are pleased to announce that two of our students will represent our Institute of European Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow at this conference, presenting policy recommendations developed during the #radardisinfo lab on combating disinformation against LGBTQIA+ persons.

f you are interested in attending, please register before January 26th here.

We also encourage you to help us spread the word by sharing the event with your personal and professional network!

This conference is the culmination of the RADAR (Raising Awareness on Disinformation: Achieving Resilience) project, which has forged connections between citizens across Europe, experts, journalists, and national and EU policymakers to advocate for counter-disinformation initiatives and raise awareness of disinformation within the EU.
