Programme Fee (Entry 2026/27):

EU/Non-EU Citizens:

  • 13200 EUR for 3 years (the programme lasts 6 semesters).
  • Payments can be made in 6 instalments (2200 EUR each semester).

Programme Fee (Entry 2026/27)*:

  • International students: £17,640 per annum
  • Home (UK) students: £7,962 per annum
  • EU/EEA students: £10,355 per annum (reflects the fee-status difference at the EU consortium partners)

The fees charged to students reflect the fee and funding regime established by the European Commission in respect of Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree programmes.  This means that, for this programme, fees paid by EU students are the same as those paid by UK students.

Fees for individual courses, repeating an academic year or a class

Fees for individual courses in the 2026/27 academic year are:

  • MA course - 60 teaching hours (10 ECTS points): 450 EUR
  • MA course - 30 teaching hours (5 ECTS points): 225 EUR
  • SA course - 40 teaching hours (6 ECTS points): 300 EUR
  • Language courses - 60 teaching hours (6 ECTS points): 375 EUR

*60 ECTS credits is a requirment to pass an academic year. The student cannot fail mandatory courses taken in the first year of MA programme (European Civilisation and MA Seminar (I)).

The student may request and be granted a conditional pass for the given academic year if he or she has obtained a minimum of 50 ECTS credits. A signed request must be submitted to the IES Administration Office by September 15th of the respective academic year in order for the request to be processed. 

Failure of some elements or the entire course** will allow student to procees to a next year of his/her programme. Failure of some elements of the course of the entire course lead to financial implications:
